DEVELOPMENT AND PERFORMANCE OF A SOLAR DRYER HYBRID PHOTOVOLTAIC THERMAL SYSTEM

A solar dryer hybrid photovoltaic thermal (PV/T) system has been designed, built and its performance studied. This research aims to develop a stand-alone dyer system, portable less maintenance. consists of three main parts; PV/T with configuration-Z absorber plate, multi-direction collector cross plate drying chamber. Solar which was designed in the is called because radiation does not get heat through upper part but also on lower sides. situation will then increase amount that absorb by plate. The be used it can assembled row row. Six sets plates are this system. airflow uses placed under (PV) module. produced from as pre-heat before hot air flows collector. While electric energy PV operate ventilation fan. tested effectiveness field daily radiation. total efficiency generated range 35% 52%. For output between 32.0 °C 46.6 °C, whereas 50% 70%.
